Titanite

$40

Titanite (Ca,Ti,Si,O), aka Sphene, typically also has Iron and Aluminium impurities present as well as Rare-Earths including Cerium and Yttrium, and the Calcium may be partly replaced by Thorium. This piece doesn’t seem radioactive at all, though. A great sample for Titanium for element collectors, this is what your Golf Clubs are made of and what allows certain paint pigments to be made. It’s typically found felsic igneous rocks, pegmatites, gneiss, schists, and skarns
