Pentlandite in Pyrrhotite

From the Sudbury Basin in Canada. It may contain only small amounts of Ruthenium, but it’s one of the only rocks you can find on the internet to represent a sample of the rare element as it’s found naturally, as this specimen came from the same mine which provides most of the 30 tons of Ruthenium which are mined annually.
