Description
Ammonites are one of the only animals to have lived long enough ago for its cells to not only have undergone mineralization and fossilization, but to have done so long enough ago that Hematite was then able to replace much of the fossil!
Possibly in the near future this description will be updated to include the location from where this was originally found, guessing either Morocco or Russia, but probably not Colorado! Either way, this is still really cool and will make for a great representation of something that was once alive and is now Iron!
