Barite #94

A cool, cloudy white with a slight brown at the base, terminated, 9.6 gram Barite Crystal that was just unearthed this year from the Sirius Mine, near Grand Junction, Colorado.

Slight Kaolinite inclusions caused this to be cloudy, and it’s like looking at a cloud, with a couple cracks or layers through it – it almost looks like a landscape!
