This was acquired from a questionable dealer that has since gone out of business and was the last one in the bowl. She specialized in the metaphysical, and there are claims of metaphysical benefits to Monazite-Sm, so it is somewhat believable that she’d find, buy, and then sell out of this specific rock, but it’s interesting that someone would polish such a rare mineral, and who knows where she acquired it…
