Graphite in Calcite

It should be pretty clear between Graphite (C) and Calcite (CaCO) as to which is which, but the white Calcite is a very common mineral, and the silvery Graphite is what makes this rock special. You call it the “Lead” in your pencil, but it’s Carbon.
