Refund and Returns Policy

Refunds will of course be given to anyone not 100% satisfied with their order, as long as your purchase was within the last 30 days and does not include a radioactive rock.

All radioactive rock sales are final.

If your order arrives damaged and you send a message with photos, you may qualify for a full refund and to keep your rock.

In most other cases, you may need to return your rock before receiving a refund, minus shipping costs.

You can also request an exchange should you wish to receive a different rock.

Your satisfaction is ColoRockCo’s priority and everything will be done that can be done to make you happy.

Overview

ColoRockCo’s refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

Several rocks are exempt from being returned. ColoRockCo unfortunately can not accept any radioactive rocks to be returned, per federal policies.

Additional non-returnable items include (but not limited to):

  • Clothing
  • Stickers
  • Books
  • Any non-rock items

Refunds may be given for any non-returnable items, but no guarantees can be made prior to your purchase and will only be decided on a case-by-case basis.

To complete your return, send a message before anything else, and please include a photo with the email you’ll receive.

Please do not send your purchase back to the without first contacting ColoRockCo.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after you received it.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, ColoRockCo will send you an email to notify you that your item has been received, and given it wasn’t damaged in shipping, that your item will be be refunded in full.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. While the work to refund your order on our end will be done immediately, there can be no guarantees made as to who’s even involved in the payment processing or how long they’ll take to do it, but it should be done in a timely manner, guessing within a week.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded in many cases, but if there is a refund that can be made for a sale item, it will be made for the sale price.

Exchanges

ColoRockCo only replaces certain rocks, and only if they are defective or damaged and there is a comparable rock with which it could be replaced. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send a message.

Gifts

If the item was a gift when purchased and the recipient isn’t happy with your gift, send a message, and once the returned item is received and approved, you’ll receive your refund or a credit towards a rock they’d rather have, if you’d prefer.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should send a message for the mailing address to send your order and to give a heads up you’ll be returning your order.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable in most cases. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. ColoRockCo cannot guarantee that your returned item will be successfully received.
