If you’d like your rock identified but you don’t need to know there’s 0.02% Scandium in it, you can send it in, and with comparisons of your rock against the specific gravity, hardness, streak color and other physical properties of known minerals, you can get a reasonably certain estimate as to its identity. No guarantees are attached with this purchase, but refunds are given if they’re incorrect or if you’re unhappy with the results.
